Oopsie Daisy..!

So, remember how I said that I was back? Well....that didn't work out too well.. oops ehehe
I'M SO VERY SORRY!!! :(
I'm taking 18 credit hours at school this semester, so it's been taking up way too much of my time.
and now it's time for the dreaded week of  FINALS!! ugh

I was meaning to post away during Thanksgiving break, BUT you will not believe what happened!!

My phone broke..
my car broke down..
my iPod died on me
and my computer caught a virus and CRASHED!

I LOST EVERYTHING!!
OH THE PAIN AND HORROR!!!!! Dx

All of this has to be a sign, but I don't know what it means!! sigh....
I'm trying to figure out how to get everything fixed, but I have finals to think about first :(

Thanks for sticking with me everybody!
I am SO SO SO thankful for each and everyone of my followers <3
Hope to see you all soon :]

I'M BAAACCCCKKK!!

Hi friends!
How are ya? :D
It feels so good to be able to blog again! I've been SUPER DUPER busy with lots of things and I was able to enjoy a week of complete laziness. I want to share lots of things but I don't even know where to start! I do want to share a tag that I recently saw in a YouTube video.

1) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip-glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?
Daaannnggg...this is hard. I think I would rather lose all of my mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip-glosses. Eyeshadows are EXPENSIVE!! and I can always buy what I lose, no? LOL

2) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Will my hair grow back when I chop it all off? If my hair grows back, I'll take the risk and chop it all off. You only live once, so might as well aha

3) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
PINK! duh :]

4) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Why not spend it on both? ehehehe

5) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
........seriously? Well, If I had a black lipstick I wouldn't mind using it as eyeliner.

6) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Now this is a hard question! I guess I would have to say MAC considering almost every makeup product I own is from MAC..

7) Would you rather only use one eye shadow color or one lip color the rest of your life?
One lip color..I already do that now hahaha

8) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Summer clothes in winter. I'll just have to turn on the heater..

9) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright nails. Dark nails look depressing..

10) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?

11) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Messy bun, yet my hair is always up in a ponytail -__-

12) Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip-gloss?
Another hard question!! Argh! I guess never use lip-gloss because I'm guessing I can use lipstick...right?

13) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all? Or sharpie them in everyday?
Definitely sharpie them in. I don't even want to think about what I look like without eyebrows...gross!

14) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
I would like to live with both if that's ok :]

I hope you guys enjoyed my answers haha and I tag whoever wants to do it!
Let me know if you do. I would LOVE to read your answers! :D

Graduations...Graduations...and even more Graduations

I don't even want to count the number of graduations I have been at during the past two weeks.
But I'm glad to say that they're FINALLY OVER!!!
I hate how they are LONG and BORING! The only reason I go is to support my fellow friends, but you have to wait for the VERY LONG AND BORING speeches in the beginning and for your friend's name to be called out, only to cheer for 10 seconds or less. Seriously..that's ridiculous.

But I have to say, the best one so far was the Air Force Academy graduation.
My friends and I are so blessed to have a brother in the Air Force :]
He graduated as a distinguished student which is equivalent to one of the three Latin honors.
Only 10% of the graduates received the awards and there were a total of 1020 something graduates.

My friend told me that they practiced the whole march and receiving award thing for 8 hours!!
It looked cute though in their uniforms hehe

President Obama was supposed to be at his graduation, but I guess his schedule changed so the President will be coming next year, which sucks. The Secretary of the Air Force came instead and he looked so tired towards the end because he had to salute and shake hands of ALL the graduates!! I would have died after 20 haha

We were all looking forward to the air show and hoping that it wouldn't rain. It's been raining like crazy here! Three days of rain than a day or two of sunshine then another three days of rain -___- Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the rain but seriously..there has to be a limit.

But by God's grace, we were able to see it!! :D
After the graduates said their oath, they threw their hats in the air and the planes flew above us..AWESOME!!

Other than that the graduation lasted about 4 hours -___-
but I guess it was worth it haha

and congratulations to all the graduates this year!!
God Bless! <3

In other news..
I finally have a workout buddy!!! Oh yeah!!
It's so hard to workout by yourself without a buddy to motivate you, so I'm thankful that I finally have one!
Yesterday we walked and ran on this path behind her house that's two miles long..
For our first day, we made good progress.
A couple days before that we bought jump ropes because jump roping is the best exercise next to power walking..from what I've heard.
The last time I jump roped was in elementary school..such sweet memories haha
Our goal is to be able to run/jog the path twice and jump rope at least 1000 times and stretch.

This is just a little update, but I have decided to post measurements and pictures to motivate me even more.
If you need a workout buddy, just let me know ;]

REVIEW: Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Anti Chip Top Coat

I wanted to see if there was a cheaper alternative to the Seche Vite Top Coat and I decided to try this out.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Anti Chip Top Coat

Company Product Claims: Keeps manicures beautiful up to 10 days! Exclusive Acrylic Polymer Complex helps get you out of the door in a flash - just 30 seconds to set! High gloss superior shine.

The company website also claims that the product has the following three benefits: Double UV filters shield manicure from fading and discoloration, helps resist chipping, salon and dermatologist tested.
Application Tips: After applying your nail polish, wait two minutes, then apply one coat of top coat and will be dry to the touch within 30 seconds.
(source: sallyhansen.com)

My Two Cents
I usually don’t wait ten days to take off my nail polish, but I noticed that the polish stayed on a bit longer than when I use Seche Vite. I did see the occasional cracks appearing around the 7th day instead of the usual 5th. The color didn't fade which is a definite plus. Two minutes seems to be a long time to wait to apply top coat, but it's going to be time to apply the top coat any way by the time you're done painting all of you nails. Overall, this is a great dupe to the Seche Vite Top Coat. It works the same and it's cheaper, which I really like.(NOTE: My thoughts and opinions may be different to yours)

Price: $5.00 at Wal-Mart (prices may vary depending on the store and location)

Have any of you tried this before?
What do you think about this product?

Cooking with Grace #1

(Vegetarians Beware!!)

I made this a few weeks ago and I wanted to show you how to cook Fried Pork Cutlet aka Ton Katsu aka 돈까스 (don kka seh)
It’s VERY simple and easy to make.

Things you need:
Pork cutlet sliced (thin) – can get them anywhere…I usually get them at Super Wal-Mart
Salt and Pepper
Bread Crumbs…I recommend using Korean or Japanese ones, but that’s because those are the only ones I used. But bread crumbs are bread crumbs (.____.)
Eggs, whisked (I usually start with two eggs)
Flour
Pork Cutlet Sauce
Frying oil
Knife
Pounder thingy…cooking hammer? I really don’t know what it’s called hehe

Directions:
1. Cut the side with the fat to prevent the fat to gather together and “crinkle” the meat when cooked

2. Pound both sides of the cutlet with the hammer until it is thinner than what you started with

3. Season salt and pepper or whatever seasoning you like. I used garlic salt.

4. Cover both sides with flour.

5. Cover both sides of the meat with the eggs. Make sure it’s completely covered so the bread crumbs will stick to the meat.

6. Cover both sides with the bread crumbs. I do this twice so there’s a lot of bread crumbs on it.

7. Fry in oil until both sides are golden brown.

8. Set it aside on a paper towel to get rid of excess oil.

9. Slice and serve with rice, cabbage salad (thinly sliced cabbage with dressing), and pork cutlet sauce.

My favorite is called Bulldog and it looks something like this.

Another favorite of mine is curry cutlet…Japanese style!

I hope you guys try it and let me know how it turns out for you!
Don’t forget your kimchi!! Haha :D

FOTD & OOTD

This is from yesterday (Sunday)
The last time I wore makeup was...December?? Gosh..
I don't really have the time to wear makeup everyday. I know I'm lazy but who puts on makeup at 5:30 in the morning?!?! Not me that's for sure.
I don't know how some girls do it..waking up early and getting ready for the day.
That's just crazy talk to me! haha but that serious determination

I had a big problem that morning because my skin is a bit lighter now because of all the sunscreen I've been slabbing on my face. I started freaking out because I didn't want an orange face and look like a giant oompa loompa, so my mom gave me two different colored foundation powders but they were too light. Luckily, I was able to make it work..I think I did a pretty good job haha

ROAD TRIP!! (03/31/11-04/03/11)

Hi friends!

Six of my fellow friends went on a road trip to Texas.
We left last Thursday at 11PM so that we could get there around noon, so we left after this service/rally at a church.
Our first stop was Colorado Springs because one of our friends goes to school there. We had my mom's GPS and put in the destination, but for some reason it gave us the longer route to Texas. It took us 2-3 hours longer to get there! -___-
One of our drivers drove 9 HOURS!! That's ridiculous! But luckily the car that we rented had cruise control haha.

Luckily, we left at night so we didn't have to look at NOTHING.
The only things you see are
grass

cows

and clouds

and trees

Once you hit Dallas, you see lots of highways

and traffic lights that are sideways!! wwhhhaaattt????

I've seen them in Korea and Japan before but not in the states..

We arrived around 2 in Dallas and went to a Korea Town but it was so ghetto haha Right when I got out of the car it was HOT AND HUMID!

We met Boss' (5 of us are teachers/leaders at church and one is our church EM director so we call her Boss haha) friend that she met at GLDI (Global Leadership Development Institute). He is very nice and short haha so I just HAD to say short jokes around him. I think I might have been too mean, but he's very fun looking and he's an extrovert so I thought it wouldn't get to him haha I wonder....

He was going to show us around after we ate lunch, but we ended up going to King's Sauna because all of us just wanted to relax before the conference.

Our trip was mainly to go to this conference called Passion. It was held in Fort Worth. The conference was about having passion for God and it was geared towards college students. A good number of my favorite Christian artists were there and my favorite speaker, Francis Chan, was there too!

Convention Center

Convention Center Waterfall

We also met one of the guy's friend and she was nice too hhaha..I think everyone is nice, unless you give me a reason not to :]

While we were walking down the streets of Downtown Fort Worth, we found a hotel named after me!! :D It was exciting haha plus they have something called Bubble Hour..how cut is that?!?!! haha

Before the last session of the conference on Saturday, we ate some nice juicy steak! Steak is a MUST in Texas! We went to Saltgrass..

we have one in Colorado too, but something about the meat was so good! It was very tender and expensive haha..I thought meat would be cheap in Texas...

I had a blushing moment at the restaurant.
I was walking up the stairs to the doors and I held the door open for the other people to get out and one of the guys said "Thanks sweetheart" in a southern accent..EEEEKKKKK!!!! :D LOL It was SO nice of him to say that! I think the only place where you'll hear that is in the south. Seriously, southern hospitality is GREAT! It would be nice to have some of that everywhere else, but I guess that's what makes them special hehe

We left at 9PM on Saturday to get to church on time for service at 9:30AM on Sunday.
Surprisingly, we arrived an hour early than expected..but we took the shorter way that we were supposed to take and Boss drove like 100 mph the second half of the way haha

Our last picture together in Texas

Sorry for the LOOOONNNNGGG post...I think this is the longest yet! hehe ^^;;
I hoped you guys liked
and I'll see you in my next post!

God Bless! <3
