another year young..

It was my 22nd birthday on Monday.
Why does time have to go so fast?
But, I am thankful that I was giving the opportunities to do the things that I was able to do last year.
Hopefully this year will be the same..


My family and I went to go out for dinner.
I was tempted to ditch my last class to go home sooner that day, but I had to endure and stay (ㅠ__ㅠ)
We went to Famous Dave's..my new all time favorite BBQ restuarant

I'm not a big fan of BBQ stuff, but I like this place...
because they have the BESTEST CORNBREAD EVER!!
The ribs are awesome too..I LOVE my meat! haha
I didn't get a happy birthday song because my dad didn't want to be embarrassed haha
We could have gotten a free dessert!! but I asked if we could go to Dairy Queen for ice cream haha

We ordered the family platter, a salad, extra cornbread, and my brother got a burger...
I wished I took my camera with me..which reminds me that I just need to carry my camera around with me wherever I go. argh

I started working out 4 weeks ago.
So, its been month but I haven't seen any changes.
Well, a little but not the scale..
You can never rely on those things -___-
I had a weight goal, but it's really useless because it always changes due to muscle and water and what not
So, I changed my goal based on body fat.
I don't know what I am now, but it's on my to do list..along with measuring myself..
It's going to take a lot of work..starting with eating right, but I'm having a hard time with the food.
Of course, we always have Korean food which is mostly rice and vegetables.
But with school, my schedule is off so I'm still trying to figure something out.

I do love how I feel after a workout, dripping with sweat!
It feels so dang good!! I wish I didn't stop working out...I blame laziness.



AND the Super Bowl was LAME!!! Steelers were SO CLOSE!! WHY SO MANY TURN OVERS?!??!?!! LLLAAAAAMMMEEE!!!!
Oh well..I just picked a team because I didn't follow the season this year haha plus I never really liked the Packers.
But the party was nice..my brother hosted it at our house for the game and supposedly my birthday and it was supposed to be a surprise, but I wasn't surprised at all. I'm used to having my birthday on the same day as the Super Bowl anyways haha but it was nice.

This past Monday was my youngest brother's 10th birthday, so on Sunday he had a birthday party with two of his good friends from church.

Of course he is spoiled because he is the baby of the family, but I'm very thankful because he's the peace maker in the house. His happiness brings light not just at home, but wherever he is...he's just too popular haha

Yesterday was my last day of tutoring!
I decided to take the kids to the Aquarium in Denver.
It was pretty cold outside, but good thing it was inside..duh haha

There was a lot of people there, but it took us an hour to look at everything.
I only took pictures of the tiger and Moon Jellies.
The tiger kept walking back and forth..it was huge!! It's head is humongo!! :O


I tried to take more pictures with the camera on my phone, but the quality sucks as you can see..

Afterwards, we went to the mall that was in the downtown area.
We ate lunch and I let them play around in the play area.
I went to VANS real quick to get a pair of their white shoes...I like these ones so much better than converse.



Then I went to Forever 21 and picked up two gold necklaces.



The last thing I bought was a pair of nude colored heels from Steve Madden.
It was one sale and it's hard to find nude colored heels, so I just got them.




They're four inches..I think?? That's what the girl who helped me said :/ *shrug*
all I know is that I'm VERY tall with them on haha :D

They had these really cute boots too!! I want a pair but I think they were around $200!!!
The girl who was helping me said that they were going out FAST! so I want to get a pair!!! D:

Let's talk about today -- Super Bowl Sunday!!! which also happened to be my 21st birthday!!!
FINALLY!!!
I've been waiting for this moment for so long! haha
So, today started off like any other Sunday. Well, not really but it's too personal for me to say on here.....
But I went to church, people said their awesome birthday wishes to me and sang the song and we ate cake and the whole enchilada!
After service and small group, everyone went to go eat but I decided to go to the library to get some homework done.

I actually ended up sleeping for..30 minutes until my brother texted me and asked if I wanted to eat wings and watch the game at



So, I went home to go with him..and I thought we were going to one that was closer to our house, but we went to another place. My brother had to put in some gas and then he said he had to go to Wal-Mart because he needed things for school. I thought it was weird because he wanted to get to the place on time so he could watch the kick off.

We watched some of the game in the electronics department, but I got bored so I went ahead and checked out for him. We finally got there after spending like 30-40 minutes at Wal-Mart for pretty much nothing. It looked packed, but my brother said it wouldn't be a problem for two people. We went inside and..


I see all of my awesome friends there waiting!!!! As I'm walking, they sang the song for me...really loud and it made me blush. hehehe
This was my first surprise birthday party ever!! I was so happy and it made my day because something not so great happened the night before, but...it was AWESOME!! Not only that, but I heard that my brother was the one who set it up, so it made me even happier ^^

Three of my friends wanted me to take shots, so throughout dinner I took 5/6 big shots and drank 1 big wild berry margarita frozen. Surprisingly, I didn't feel buzzed or drunk and it's been six months since I last drank.
Maybe I'm a natural heavy drinker?? Is that possible?? Maybe because I have a lot of fat??? I don't know but it was fun :]


While we ate, we of course watched the game. I was rooting for the Saints and I knew they would win!!! I was so happy!!!

My brother and I were on our way home, but one of our friends got a flat tire and it took us a while for my brother to change it, but there was a problem with the bolts.
My dad got angry at us for taking too long, so we told her to leave it there and get someone to fix it in the morning because it's a waste of money to call a tow truck. I told my brother to drop her off, but we had to leave her :[ it pissed me off..

but I didn't know that the kids at my house planned a little surprise for me.
I felt bad because they have school tomorrow and we came late.
But they were happy that we were able to do it today..I'll post pictures of my gifts sometime this week..I need to finish some of my homework and get some sleep because I only got two hours of sleep this morning >_<


Anyways...




I'm so thankful for today and I feel so blessed to have such great friends and family :]
